About BWA

Brod Wight Architects was founded in 2000 by Michael Brod and Jeremy Wight, who worked together for 15 years before Michael’s retirement in 2015. Since then, Jeremy has continued the practice as sole director.

From first sketches to final walkthrough, BWA places clear communication and collaboration at the heart of every project, guiding clients through planning, design and construction with transparency and care.

As practical problem-solvers, they maximise usable space while respecting each client’s style, budget and timescale. Jeremy remains the single point of contact throughout, so clients benefit directly from the experience and attention of the person leading the practice.

Our Team

Jeremy Wight

Jeremy was educated at Heriot Watt University Edinburgh (receiving the City of Edinburgh Gold Medal for Civic Design & the Ewart Scholarship Award) and at Kansas University USA where he was invited onto the Dean’s Honour List. Jeremy subsequently worked with Practices in Japan and America before settling down in London.

Jeremy became Head of Practice at Brod Wight in 2015.

Michael Brod

Michael is a Consultant to Brod Wight Architects. He studied at the Bartlett School of Architecture at University College London, where he gained a Distinction in his Master’s degree together with the Walpamur Prize and Donaldson Medal. He joined Jeremy Wight in 2000 to form Brod Wight Architects.
